Individuals with severe headaches are three times more likely than healthy persons to suffer from depression. Depression isn’t a disease; it’s a state of mind.

The following are four different kinds of headaches that should never be ignored.

Tension Headaches

Tension headaches are characterized by a generalized, mild to severe discomfort in the head that feels like your head has a tight band around it. It is so common, although its origins remain unknown. The discomfort is modest to severe and presents itself as a dull pressure or tightness in the forehead.

Sinus Headache

Sinus headaches seem to come from a sinus infection (sinusitis). It’s possible that you’ll feel pressure around your eyes, cheekbones, and brow. It’s possible that your head throbs. Many individuals who believe they have sinusitis headaches, even those diagnosed, have tension headaches or migraines.

Migraine Headache

It is characterized by strong throbbing pain or a pulsating feeling on one side of the head. Migraines are commonly accompanied by vomiting, nausea, and excessive light and sound sensitivity. Migraines may last anywhere from hours to days. They are usually so painful.

Cluster Headache

Cluster headaches are one of the most painful since they occur in cyclical patterns or clusters. A cluster headache is characterized by severe pain in or around one eye on one side of the head that wakes you up in the middle of the night. They can stay for weeks to months and are frequently followed by remission periods, during which the headaches disappear.
