If you are concerned about your health, have sensitivities or conditions, have struggled with disease, or are only concerned with prevention, then avoiding as many triggers and instigators as possible is critical, and this includes certain foods and ingredients. Your body needs all possible levels of support so that it can heal if you have chronic or temporary illnesses, and then maintain optimal health.

By now we’ve all heard of preservatives and artificial flavors, we know we should avoid them, for very good reasons. However, there are other troublesome ingredients that you should know to avoid if you suffer from chronic diseases.

These ingredients can fuel existing viral, bacterial and fungal conditions, which can lead to inflammation and can also wreak havoc on your digestive system, weaken and confuse your immune system, tighten your glands and organs, hamper cells anywhere in your body, alter or destroy the neurons and neurotransmitters in your brain, make you anxious and / or depressed, prepare you for strokes or heart attacks, and more. This is how the development of chronic diseases begins.

In chronic diseases these foods should be avoided

Health professionals are unlikely to warn you about most of these foods and additives, as it is not common knowledge that they can substantially worsen existing conditions, and that they can trigger new health conditions that can turn into diseases.

You deserve to have full knowledge of what you consume and the effects it has on your body.

Corn

Corn used to be one of the fundamental sources of food on earth. Unfortunately, genetically modified organisms (GMOs) technology has destroyed it as a viable food.

Try to avoid all corn and all products that have corn as an ingredient. These include foods like corn chips, tacos, popcorn, corn cereal, and anything that clearly incorporates corn syrup or corn oil.

Less obvious items are also included, such as soda, gum, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), toothpaste, gluten-free foods that use corn instead of wheat, and herbal tinctures that use alcohol as a preservative.

It is most likely corn grain alcohol. Instead, buy the alcohol-free tincture versions.

Try to read ingredient labels carefully and do the best you can. Staying away from corn products and by-products can be a lot of work. For a summertime treat, it’s okay to enjoy a fresh, organic corn on the cob.

But for the sake of your health, it is worth the effort to cut the corn the rest of the time, especially if you already suffer from chronic diseases.

Soy

Soy has suffered a GMO fate similar to corn. Soy used to be a healthy food. However, you can now assume that any soy product you find could have some GMO contamination or contain added MSG.

Be careful when eating soy, edamame, miso, soy milk, soy nuts, soy sauce, textured vegetable protein (TVP), soy protein powder, artificial meat products made from soy, and much more.

Try to stay away from soy as best you can. If you really enjoy soy and feel deprived without it, go for the safest options: plain, organic tofu or tempeh, or the highest quality.

Canola oil

Canola oil is primarily GMO at this time. Canola oil creates a great deal of inflammation. It is especially damaging to your digestive system, potentially scarring the linings of your small and large intestines, and is a major cause of irritable bowel syndrome.

If you are dealing with a mysterious illness or chronic health condition, try to avoid canola oil at all costs.

Processed beet sugar

Until now, GMO beets are primarily reserved for making processed beet sugar. Therefore, you should avoid products that contain processed beet sugar, which feeds cancers, viruses, and bacteria.

This is different than grating fresh, organic beets over your salad or juicing fresh beets. If you stick to this vegetable organically, most of the whole beets that you buy in the produce section at your local health market or farmers market are safe to eat.

In itself, all refined sugar will never be good to consume if you suffer from chronic diseases, so stay away from this food definitely if you want to achieve health changes and not make them worse.

Eggs

Humans have eaten eggs for thousands of years. They were once an incredible survival food in areas of the planet where there were no other food options at certain times of the year. The average person eats more than 350 eggs a year. That includes whole eggs and also all foods with hidden egg ingredients.

The biggest problem with eggs is that they are a staple food for cancer and other cysts, fibroids, tumors, and nodules. Women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), breast cancer, or other cysts and tumors should avoid eggs altogether.

Natural flavors

Any ingredient with a name as a natural flavoring has the MSG hidden in it. Natural cherry flavor, natural orange flavor, natural lemon flavor, natural fruit flavor, they are not just fruit extracts, and they are not your friends.

The same goes for smoke flavor, turkey flavor, beef flavor, natural mint flavor, natural maple flavor, natural chocolate flavor, natural medicinal vanilla flavor and all of their “natural” and “flavoring” cousins. . Although the pure vanilla extract is safe to use.

Artificial flavors

Artificial sweeteners

Citric acid
